Budget Situation

To the Campus Community:
In these times of economic uncertainty, I feel it is important to communicate openly and often about the budget situation facing the University of California, Riverside. Therefore, I am calling a Town Hall meeting for all students, faculty, and staff to share with you the current information and to respond to any questions you might have. The meeting will be held from 2:30 to 3:20 p.m. on Monday, November 24, in Commons 355.
We have just opened a new budget website designed to provide you with the latest information from the campus as well as the Office of the President. It may be found at http://budget.ucr.edu/. I will also hold Town Hall meetings on a regular basis to provide you with updates as they occur. Please watch the UCR website for news on these events, which will also be available by webcast.
